2. Seattle. May 1 – 9, 2012. Pioneer Square. Empire Builder to Seattle. Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington. 72 hours, 3574 miles.

3. Lake Tahoe. January 13 – 22, 2013. Empire Builder to Portland, Coast Starlight to Sacramento, California Zephyr to Chicago. Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa. 116 hours, 5255 miles.

4. Daytona Beach. February 19 – 27 , 2013. The Daytona 500. Empire Builder to Chicago, Capitol Limited to Washington, D.C., Silver Meteor to DeLand, Florida. Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Washington D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida. 83 hours, 4120 miles.

5. New Orleans. October 14 – 17, 2013. The French Quarter. Empire Builder to Chicago, City of New Orleans to New Orleans. Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana. 54 hours, 2610 miles.

6. Continued. Southeast – New York, New Orleans. January 22 – 28, 2014. Outrunning Leon. Empire Builder to Chicago, Cardinal to New York, Crescent to New Orleans, City of New Orleans to Chicago. Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, D.C., Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee. 94 hours, 4200 miles.

7. Continued. Northeast – New York City. October 30 – November 2, 2015. Halloween Parade. Empire Builder to Chicago, Lake Shore Limited to Penn Station. Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York. 59 hours, 2660 miles.

8. Red Wing. 68 47-mile trips between St. Paul and the Harbor Marina since April 29, 2012. 80+ hours, 3196 miles.

Around the world in 28 days. 600+ hours in transit. The equivalent of New York to San Francisco ten times.
